Tools

There are a number of sources for tools to support IEEE 11073 PHD development and testing. This includes freely available tools contributed by members, open source software projects, commercial software, and software provided through membership of organisations, such as Continua Alliance.

Available Tools

Members of the group have contributed tools to assist in developing the standards and devices. These tools are either available on this site or through the link provided.

Open Source

The outcome of research projects may be to release the software as open source. Some companies have released versions of the source software for free use. Links to these are given on this site

Organisations

Membership of certain organizations may provide access to software tools, test tools and source code. Continua Alliance provides source code and emulation tools in the form of the CESL library. It also provides a test tool for manufacturers to test conformance of their devices against the standards.
